Next time I will book another hotel to stay in Chantaburi

Proximity to gems market.

Reception staff were very unfriendly. Buffet breakfast was much less diverse then the last time we visited. The bread (croissants,buns) was "old".

There was no tea bags provided in room.

There was no tea bags provided in room. Only coffee. Even after asking for same I did not got any from hotel staff. Most of the staff did not understand English.

Location is perfect : close to everything!

We arrived at 3:30pm with two small kids and they have made us waiting for our rooms?!? The booking was made more than two months ago... for an hotel of this standing : it is not admissible! And after have waited a good 45 min, then I had to shout and finally.. they have gave us two other rooms...For me, this hotel looks like old time communism hotels : lots of workers but not one efficient! The two good points of this hotel are the swimming pool and the location!

Good view to the city from the top of the hotel. The gym place was very well equipped, well maintained (2019. Jan.) and spacious!! Even there is a boxing area with a place for floor exercises which is included. This was my favourite place. The hotel looks like a chastle from inside, it is very elegant. The staff was very kind. The breakfast is tasty. The thai massage prices are very good in the hotel! (usually it is hard to find a good price in the hotel, but here it was and moreover inside a beautiful hotel.) The location is quite good. The mall on foot is just few minutes far from the hotel. Around the mall there is a night market with mostly 'old/extreme' clothes and there is big and good food section at the market.

The clothes of the night market is not specially for tourists, not for 'normal european taste', you will see what I mean). It is interesting, but I could not buy clothes..... Of course it was not the mistake of the hotel.

Good base camp to introduce yourself with Chanthaburi.

Good “base camp” to introduce yourself with Chanthaburi. Clean, spacious rooms. Stayed at 12th floor that gives good views and silence at night.

Breakfast could have more variety for non Asian traveller.

Great value for money, super convenient location, decent breakfast buffet, clean swimming pool.

Great location! You can conveniently explore Chanthaburi on foot! Multiple parking lots! Choose from: basement or next to the hotel. Take your pick, there are enough spots for everybody. Very friendly service staff!

Limited buffet stations. The food should also be replenished more frequently; otherwise small families like us have no chance against tour groups from India and China! Old beds --- they sag in the corners and sides where someone sat to watch TV for hours on end. You will tilt when you go sleep.

Located at the heart of the city and many local restaurants and shops nearby. The shower is very good. Internet speed is quite satisfied. Check in and check out process is fast and efficient.

Breakfast is not that great.

Pleasant, no nasty surprises and a good location with plenty of facilities in the hotel or nearby.

Clean and well kept hotel Excellent 2hr 500THB massage.

Booking.com booking could not be found when I arrived. Fortunately my receipt confirmed the detail but the hotel literally had no idea I was coming. Walk in rate was cheaper than booking.com The EXCELLENT 2hour 400 THB massage advertised actually cost 500 THB - which I think was because she came to my room but... you know, leaves a taste. The massage was still great value.

Staff good, friendly abd effecient .Nice sized swimming pool .Comfortable,clean room.

Not much public transport in area . Taxis tend to overcharge
